Case filed vs. owner, crew of boat loaded with smuggled fuel
The Iloilo Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force has filed a case for violation of Batas Pambasa Blg. 33 otherwise known as "An Act defining and penalizing certain prohibitive acts inimical to the public interest and national security involving petroleum and/or petroleum products” against the owner, boat captain and crew of F/B Prince Karl which was apprehended recently for carrying 123 (not 125 as reported earlier) drums of undocumented crude oil.



The Provincial Legal Office (PLO) has officially endorsed to the Office of the Deputy Ombudsman Visayas in Cebu City the Notice of Disallowance issued by the Commission on Audit (COA) last January 11, 2011 relative to the excess payment of electric consumption of the Iloilo Provincial Government (IPG) to Green Core Geothermal, Inc. (GCGI) from December 26, 2009 to April 25, 2010.
