The Iloilo Provincial Government now accepts applications for the Iskolar sang Iloilo, a four year college scholarship of the Iloilo Provincial Government, for School Year 2012-2013.

The Old Capitol of the Province of Iloilo is now officially declared a historical site after the unveiling of the historical marker on April 11, 2010 by the National Historical Institute (NHI).

Gov. Niel D. Tupas, Sr. considered this significant event his crowning glory since it happened under his administration.

Tupas, who whose term as governor of the Province of Iloilo ends on June 30, 2010, recalled that it was also under his administration when the construction of the New Iloilo Airport in Cabatuan and the new Iloilo Rehabilitation Center in Pototan were materialized.

PhilHealth awards IPG as Top 10 Reporting and Remitting Employer

The Iloilo Provincial Government was recognized as one of the Top 10 Reporting and Remitting Employers by the PhilHealth Regional Office VI (PRO VI) during the Government Employers Forum held on May 7, 2008 at Iloilo Grand Hotel.

The IPG received certificate and token.
