Capitol power deal still advantageous to gov’t

The Provincial Government of Iloilo would be paying not less than P2.264 million for the electrical consumption of the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, including transmission fees, had it continued its power contract with its previous supplier, Green Core Corporation.

General Services Office (GSO) officer-in-charge Roquito Resano signs the acceptance papers for the GSIS Wireless Automated Processing (GWAPS) kiosk installed inside the New Iloilo Provincial Capitol building in the presence of GSIS Regional Manager Eleanor D. Gregorio after the flag-raising ceremony yesterday (July 4).

GSO personnel undergo personality development

ImageThe General Services Office (GSO) acquired a new office image after attending a seminar on Building Office Image in Dealing with Clients – a personality development seminar-workshop held at the Conference Hall, Iloilo Provincial Capitol on September 10 and 11, 2007.

Supervising Administrative Officer Julius O. Tidon said GSO receives the most number of clients year-round; aside from an approximate daily average of 50 walk-in clients and callers, it also has 105 internal employees to deal with.
